Sad news today....

We are very sad that Becky's mom Ann Adkison passed away last night. Please remember Becky and her family during this difficult time.  I had only met her mom a few times but she was a very sweet lady and she always had a sweet smile.  I know not everyone has Facebook so I wanted to share the message that Becky posted this morning.

"Last night I not only lost my best friend but my mom. My mom was such a giving and unselfish person. My mom had such wonderful faith.
I now have two angels looking over Billy through his journey.
I miss you so much mom but you are now with daddy again and I know you are once again happy." ~Becky Standridge
Ann and Ray Adkison, 50th Wedding Anniversary

Arrangements have been made, services will be Thursday March 13th at the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church in Decatur Alabama. The family will receive friends at 9:30 and services will start at 11:00. Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.

I thought this prayer would be good today, submitted by Jennifer Tate:

The deepest level of
worship is praising God
in spite of the pain,
thanking God during the
trials, trusting Him when
we're tempted to lose
Hope and loving Him
when He seems so
distant and far away.
At my lowest, God is my
hope. At my darkest, God
is my light. At my weakest,
God is my strength. At my
saddest, God is my
comforter. ~Spiritual Inspiration
